From My Mailbox: Thomas Glave writes in

Last week, author Thomas Glave shared his thoughts with me about TALLAWAH. Here's what Thomas said:

Hi, Tyrone Reid -- I really like your Tallawah blogspot. But I think it's kind of weak on books -- and we Jamaicans can really *use* more book exposure than we have. You list a few books, I see, but there's no real forum for discussion or review of books on your spot. I say this as a writer. I would love to see you list on your site my anthology, Our Caribbean: A Gathering of Lesbian and Gay Writing from the Antilles, that I premiered at last year's (2008) Calabash -- and you may have seen that, since I opened the festival on the 1st Friday night. Anyway, please think about adding more serious book content to your site. We should move forward with intellectual matters also, not only music and dance.
