CALABASH COUNTDOWN: Flashback '09, Flashback '09!

Mischievous kids Colin Channer and Kwame Dawes “ring the alarm” with their rogue poetry.

What can I say? The bathroom line at Calabash is the longest in the English-speaking Caribbean. No joke.

Marlon James, who created quite a stir during and after his reading, signs a copy of The Book of Night Women.

The brilliant Pico Iyer (who has written for publications, including Time) is photographed minutes after exiting ‘The Chatterbox’.

Authors Joseph Boyden and Laura Fish were delighted to autograph copies of their books and rap with Calabash-goers.
