CULTURE SPOTLIGHT: JCDC honours top entrants in 2010 Festival with excellence awards; Ardenne cops Marcus Garvey award

WINNERS’ CIRCLE: On Thursday, the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) recognized the work of the most outstanding participants in the 2010 Festival of the Arts competition with excellence awards, at an afternoon ceremony at the Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston. The prestigious Marcus Garvey Award (first handed out in 1994), which is presented to the top overall school/group in the annual competition, went to Ardenne High (above). DRAMA:
