SOME LIKE IT HOT: CHERINE to bring the heat with titillating, spicy new video, “Make-Up Sex”

Jamaica’s undisputed queen of dancehall-soul, Cherine, is about to increase the sass quotient on the music scene with the premiere of her scorching new video, “Make-Up Sex” this weekend. The video, which was shot in Port Royal and helmed by Kevin Lee of Broadvision, will have its Jamaican premiere on TV on Friday, February 18, followed by a worldwide premiere on her soon-to-be-launched website

As a single, "Make up Sex"(produced by Ward 21) is an anthemic, thought-provoking and feel-good song that showcases Cherine's versatility as a performer and songwriter.

The excitingly fiery and high-energy video, meanwhile, features creative dance routines choreographed by popular dancer and TV personality Tippa, which showcase the natural street styles and creativity of some of Kingston's best female dancers – as well as the island’s natural scenic beauty. For the video, Cherine also found time to collaborate with renowned Jamaican jewellery designer Duane Bennett, while scoring a few body-hugging and eye-catching outfits for her signature bold fashion statements.

According to the singer’s camp, the video's high intensity and appeal can be credited to Cherine's strong performance, a steamy love scene and the overall sharp direction and editing of the video. "I had so much fun shooting this video,” says Cherine, “and I can't wait for my fans to see it! It's definitely one to look out for.” Bring it on.
