FACES IN THE CROWD: Action from the Actor Boy stage and post-awards celebration

LEADING LADY: Best Actress winner Maylynne Lowe Walton does her best to stay composed at the mic as she expresses gratitude for her first Actor Boy win. No surprise that she took home the prize, though, since she was the runaway favourite all year, not to mention her Thespian Spirit Award triumph in February.

THREE THE HARD WAY: It didn't take supporting-actor winner Philip Clarke (left) long to find good company to help celebrate his win following last evening's Actor Boy Awards. Here he hooks up with supporting-actress nominee Nyanda Cammock and certified foreigner Andrew Clarke.

WHAT'S ANOTHER TWO: David Tulloch is making a habit of this. The highly successful playwright-actor-director-composer picked up another original score trophy along with one for original song at the awards. Tulloch, who debuts his latest play, Confessions, next week, recently told TALLAWAH that while he takes pleasure in his achievements, "there is still a lot to be done."

SPECIAL HONOUR: Representing the National Schools' Drama Festival, Quindell Ferguson (left) and Carolyn Allen admire the special Actor Boy Award for outstading contribution to Jamaican theatre.

PERFECT 'LADIES': Beautifully attired in his Sunday best, co-host Maurice Bryan (that's him on the right, just to be clear, with Teisha Duncan) had audience members doubling over with laughter when he appeared on stage in socks and stilettos and this rosy pink frock. Emily Post has nothing on you, Maurice.
