STAR SHOTS: Omari + Yendi + Camille Davis + Mario Evon + Papa San

SAY YES: Has Mario Evon found a new lady love? Not that we know of, but here the Jamaican reggae-soul rising star cozies up to neo-soul songbird Marsha Ambrosius (her new album is no joke) backstage at a BET Music Matters concert at the Irving Plaza in Manhattan, New York earlier this week. Nice pic. A duet from the talented twosome should work remarkably well, too.

THE CUTTING EDGE: It's not easy keeping up with Camille Davis. Channelling her inner glamour puss, the fab actress debuts a sleek new haircut to the world. Loves it. This new look definitely suits her.

HIGHER PRAISE: Gospel entertainers Omari (right) and Papa San rock the mic during Omari's well-attended album launch and concert special "Heal Jamaica, Heal The Word" on Sunday in New Kingston. Omari seems intent on taking his ministry to a whole new level, and now is as good a time as any.

ON BEAUTY: Who let out the hot bikini babes? During a recent elimination exercise in Kingston to determine the top 20 finalists for the 2011 Miss Jamaica Universe pageant, reigning queenpin Yendi Phillipps performs hosting duties. Phillipps will hand over her crown to the new Miss Jamaica during a grand coronation showcase on July 9.
