ON THE SCENE: PM Bruce Golding reviews new police grads, inks new HIV/AIDS declaration

CONSTABULARY MAN: PM Bruce Golding stood as Reviewing Officer of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) passing out parade that was held at the Jamaica Police Academy on Friday, April 29. In his address Mr. Golding reminded the 291 constables that they needed to continue learning and do their part to advance the goals of the force. The graduation covered a batch from Twickenham Park and also from Tranquility Bay.

HISTORY MAKERS: PM Bruce Golding and Leader of the Opposition, Portia Simpson Miller, sign the 2011 declaration of commitment to eliminate stigma, discrimination and gender inequality affecting Jamaica’s HIV/AIDS response on the morning of April 29 at the Wyndham Hotel in New Kingston.
