PARTING GIFT: PM Bruce Golding presents a gift to outgoing Mexican Ambassador, Leonora Rueda, during a courtesy call on the at Jamaica House on Wednesday. Ambassador Rueda said she is pleased with having helped to improve the relations between Jamaica and Mexico in areas of business, nuclear energy and health. The Mexican Ambassador also expressed how proud she was that after three years Jamaica and Mexico were able to sign an air traffic agreement to have direct flights between both countries. Golding applauded her for the work she did during her tenure. Rueda will assume new duties in New Zealand.
GREAT JOB: During the farewell meeting, PM Golding also commended the Ambassador for the excellent work she did particularly in improving relations between Jamaica and Mexico. He said Ambassador Rueda has helped to strengthen areas of economic, cultural and political interests between Jamaica and Mexico.
