JAMAICA HOUSE SPOTLIGHT: PM Bruce Golding holds first meeting with reshuffled Cabinet, welcomes head of RBC Bank

ECONOMIC SUMMIT: During a courtesy call at Jamaica House on Tuesday, PM Bruce Golding raps with Group CEO of RBC Royal Bank, Suresh Sookoo. RBC Royal Bank is the rebranded RBTT Bank, which was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada three years ago. Mr. Sookoo said that the bank is aiming to expand services to the small, medium and micro enterprise (SME) sector and is looking on with interest at the venture capital activities in Jamaica.

Other changes to the Cabinet: Robert Montague named Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, and Dr Christopher Tufton appointed Minister of Industry Investment and Commerce.
