ON TREND: The boys of summer do it white-hot at Reggae Sumfest

WHITE OUT: Although there were flashes of vibrant colour and frequent sightings of black, the overwhelming hue of choice for performers at Reggae Sumfest this past weekend was white, dazzling under the lights and style-appropriate for the warm season. A quick round-up of the men who wore it best:

If you think Beenie Man's get-up is supreme, you should be just as impressed (if not more) by that footwear, a sky-aiming lace-up with more bling than the Oscars. The king still reigns!

For his performance early on Friday's International Night, Richie Loop (or is it Loops?) stood out in this eye-catching ensemble.

It's hardly surprising that Vybz Kartel went all-white to close Dancehall Night. What other colour could truly bring off his endless series of tattoos and Michael Jackson complexion?

Even lovers' rock deity Beres Hammond got in on the style trend, gracing the stage in this crisp long-sleeved number.

Comfort is key when playing an event as momentous as Reggae Sumfest, so it's understandable that ace dancehall star Assassin (aka Agent Sasco) opted for clean simplicity.

With diligent deejay Aidonia you can never be quite sure how his outfits will turn out, but at Thursday's Dancehall Night he delivered respectfully -- even adding a classic touch with the gloves.

Easily among the top ten overall performers at the festival, Christopher Martin also scored handsomely with his fashion.

Even without any fuss, Konshens commands attention, seen here hanging out backstage on Dancehall Night.
