ON THE RADAR: Entertainment stories people are talking about

IN WAYNE’S WORLD: Wayne Marshall is swaggin’ for real. Over the summer the dancehall hotshot made his foray into music production, joining forces with Washroom Entertainment to cook up the Matrimoney medley that features his own chart-topper “Good Ole Wife.” Now, the entertainer is reportedly hard at work on his upcoming studio album, which is being executive produced by the Marley brothers, Damian and Stephen. That's definitely a good look.

THE PLAY’S THE THING: Assembling an all-star cast, writer-director David Tulloch returns to the theatrical marketplace early next month with If Walls Could Talk, a provocative look at human relationships, starring Winston ‘Bello’ Bell, Marsha-Ann Hay and Chris McFarlane. The play is also notable in that it will mark actress and broadcaster Rosie Murray’s long-awaited return to the stage.

AND THEN THERE WERE TWO: Catfight! Season 8 of Digicel Rising Stars has boiled down to a face-off between the show’s pair of divas-in-training, Latty J and Tash (left and right), who went head-to-head live on the season’s penultimate episode last Sunday night. Both singers, who each have their diehards, gave solid presentations, making it hard to predict who will emerge as the third-ever female champ of the talent competition. But it’s certain that whoever does come out on top is totally deserving.
