DYNAMIC DUO: Oct. 13, St. Andrew. Playwright Basil Dawkins and actress Gracia Thompson attend a commemorative dramatic reading of Trevor Rhone's 1975 work School's Out at Hope Road's Bookophilia. Dawkins' latest production, Where Is My Father?, opens Dec. 27 at the Little Little Theatre.

TRIPLE THREAT: Oct. 13, St. Andrew. TALLAWAH's October cover star, Regina Beavers, (right) joined fellow thespians Ruth HoShing and Michael Nicholson at the School's Out dramatic reading on Thursday. Beavers recently made her commercial stage debut in A Gift For Mom.

DEUCES: Oct. 8, Miami. Sean Paul and producer Rico Love hit up the Cameo Nightclub in South Beach last Saturday after spending hours in the studio on new tracks for Sean Paul's upcoming CD, out in February. The album will also feature appearances from Kelly Rowland, Akon and Stargate.

THE READER(S): Oct. 13, St. Andrew. A packed house at Bookophilia last Thursday was in for a lively reading of Trevor Rhone's School's Out, featuring apt voice work from a storied lineup of actors, the likes of Andrew Brodber, Rishille Bellamy-Pelicie, Munair Zacca and Oliver Samuels.
