ON THE SCENE: Sean Paul + Harry Belafonte + GAIN execs + Sheryl Lee Ralph

I AM LEGEND: Stage, screen and music stalwart Harry Belafonte attends a screening of his HBO documentary Sing Your Song at the Apollo Theatre in New York on Thursday. Mr. Belafonte recently published his memoir, My Song (Knopf).

DREAMGIRLS REUNION: Dashing divas Sheryl Lee Ralph (right) and Loretta Devine, who recently won an Emmy Award, were both in attendance at the funeral service for singer Vesta Williams, in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ralph's annual Divas Simply Singing! charity event is set for Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in LA.

CULTURAL EXCHANGE: No doubt soaking up the artistic splendour of their surroundings, representatives of the New York-based Global Arts Initiative (GAIN) enjoy a meal at cozy Roktowa, downtown Kingston, on Thursday. The GAIN posse is in the island (until Monday) to partner with Roktowa on several local arts-based programmes.

STUDIO VIBES: Grammy winner Sean Paul is pulling out all the stops for his upcoming fifth album, now slated for a February 2012 release. Here, the pop-dancehall star, who has reportedly snagged Kelly Rowland for a collabo, hangs in studio with ace hitmaker Rico Love (Chris Brown, Beyonce). On Thursday, Rico tweeted, "In 2 days me and Sean Paul have completed 4 smashes! Hard work!"
