PASSION FOR FASHION: Casting underway for Mission Catwalk’s second season

RULE THE CATWALK: The mission is simple.

With its widely watched breakout season earlier this year, the fashion reality series Mission Catwalk not only brought a breath of fresh air to local television but completely transformed the lives of its contestants, particularly top two finishers Shenna Carby and Ayanna Dixon, who are presently living out their dreams as in-demand clothing designers.

The show’s producers and judges are ready to make more stylish dreams come true and have put out a casting call for Season Two, inviting talented local designers to submit photos of their creations (along with name and contact info) to before Dec. 20.The fantastic prizes up for grabs (over $3 million in total) range from a scholarship to study fashion design at the Edna Manley College to the opportunity to showcase your work on the runway of an international Fashion Week.

According to conceptualizer and host Keneea Linton-George, the well-anticipated second season of Mission Catwalk kicks off with a bang next March.
