CLASS ACT: The Help is boss among SAG nominees.
Hot on the heels of Tuesday’s Critics’ Choice nominations, the Screen Actors Guild on Wednesday announced their lists, with the big-screen adaptation of The Help (one of the most heartfelt cinematic treats of 2011) getting the most nods with four. The widely acclaimed silent film The Artist continues its impressive awards-season run, picking up three bids. Among the notable omissions: Hugo, War Horse and Charlize Theron, who gives one of the year’s buzziest performances in Young Adult. Below, the list of SAG nominees for film:
