WHEN HARRY MET BOLT: British prince and sprint king race at UWI
Beating Usain Bolt in a quick sprint at the UWI Mona Bowl was how Britain’s Prince Harry kicked off his Jamaican mini adventure on Tuesday. Dressed head-to-toe in Puma gear and full of enthusiasm, the 27-year-old heir and the World’s Fastest Man were the main attractions at the Usain Bolt Track as they goofed around and chit-chatted as a crowd of spectators looked on from the sidelines. Bolt even shared a few pointers on his sprinting technique with the prince.
Harry is in Jamaica as part of his Diamond Jubilee Tour on behalf of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. The tour has already seen him make stops in Belize and the Bahamas.
Before departing the island on Thursday, the prince will meet with political leaders Portia Simpson-Miller and Andrew Holness, as well stop by the Bustamante Hospital for Children, the Victoria Jubilee Hospital and the Falmouth Pier.
