ON THE SCENE: Danielle Crosskill + Spice + PM Portia Simpson-Miller + Tifa + Leisha Wong + Yendi + David-Andrew Reid

SUNDAY BEST: April 15, Kingston. Not even the threat of showers could deter the likes of writer and Kingston Kitchen maven Leisha Wong from hitting the Jamaica Carnival Road March in her sexiest two-piece. Looking good, Leisha.

BLUES BROTHERS: April 15, Kingston. Last Sunday's road march could not miss actor and dancer David Andrew Reid (right), who joined the bacchanal trail with friend Pierce Lindo in tow. This past January, Reid wowed audiences as the titular hero in the Jamaica Junior Theatre's production of Hercules.

NESTING INSTINCTS: April 15, Kingston. Yendi Phillipps brought the plumage (and her flawless skin!) to last Sunday's Jamaica Carnival Road March, resembling a bodacious peahen having a 'jelly' good time. The beauty queen looks fully recovered from her recent stint in hospital due to an unwitting encounter with, of all things, a jellyfish.

LEADING LADIES: April 13, Colombia. Jamaica's PM Portia Simpson Miller (far right), along with her Trinidadian counterpart, Kamla Persaud Bissessar (centre), and Costa Rican president, Laura Chinchilla, ooze ladylike charm as they arrive at a forum of the Chief Executive Officers Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia. The leaders used the forum to urge regional governments and business leaders to place more emphasis on education programmes in development planning.

GOOD CHRISTIAN BELLES: April 15, Kingston. Sexy kittens Danielle Crosskill (right), Alexa Chin and Kerrie Simone cut loose to soca riddims at last Sunday's road march, giving new meaning to 'bacchanal babes'. Talk about flesh-ing it out!

MEAT MANIA: April 15, Kingston. Dancehall vixens Spice (centre) and Tifa and Digicel's Carla Hollingsworth are serving full bootyliciousness on the Kingston bacchanal trail, which brought the curtains down on Jamaica Carnival 2012 last Sunday. Meaty mamas rule!
