MONEY MATTERS: Jamaica's Director of Tourism, John Lynch, tells journalists that total expenditure for the Jamaica House 02 Initiative in London and its activities was well within budget and was best utilized. According to Lynch, the total cost was £969.652.000 (below the one million pounds that was originally budgeted), and included rental of the O2 space in the Millennium Dome, security, welfare of volunteers and the design and registration of the website to 2020. Lynch was speaking at Friday's press conference at Jamaica House, where he assured the gathering that Jamaica will reap shortly the benefits of the marketing and promotional activities from the initiative.
