ART: Painter Susan Alexander’s new solo exhibit, which had been scheduled to go on view at the Mutual Gallery this past Thursday, has been put off until further notice, according to gallery curator Gilou Bauer. But despair not, art buffs; the exhibit, which features a series of vivid Ethiopian-inspired pieces, will debut before the end of the year.
THEATRE/LIT: Acting legend Leonie Forbes’ candid new self-titled autobiography was launched in its hardcover glory last Sunday morning inside the Little Theatre, but not long from now readers will be able to enjoy the audio-book version, according to publisher Mike Henry (LMH Publishing), who made the announcement during his brief remarks at the launch. The gesture, I feel, is wonderfully timely and utterly in keeping with continuing advancements in the literary world.
