TOP FLIGHT: Rock-star appeal still does it for Ziggy Marley and Shaggy

CROWD PLEASER: Drawing on his signature blend of high-energy delivery, a booming baritone, and dazzling stagecraft, Shaggy gave an electrifying performance at 'The Dome 63' music show at the Forum Ludwigsburg on August 29 in Ludwigsburg, Germany. These days, the ‘bombastic’ Grammy winner is promoting a sizzling new collabo with singer Jazmine Sullivan titled “Dying In Your Arms.” (Photo: Getty Images)

GUITAR HERO: Accompanied by an 8-piece backing band, Ziggy Marley brought groovy reggae beats to the stage at Chico State’s Laxson Auditorium in California on Wednesday, September 5. According to The Orion, Ziggy’s performance included such powerful songs as “Love Is My Religion” and a cover of his father’s timeless hit “Could You Be Loved?” Playing in Chico was an experience, Marley said. “There is more to it than being onstage. We are having a conversation with the audience.” (Photo: The Orion)

Born just five days apart, Ziggy (Oct. 17) and Shaggy (Oct. 22) are both 43 years old.
