COME FLY WITH ME: Jan. 16, Kingston. Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller greets these well-groomed attendants of Fly Jamaica Airways at Wednesday night’s launch at the Devonshire in St. Andrew, where the airline announced it would have its inaugural flight on January 25 from Kingston to New York. The airline will offer four flights weekly from Kingston with added services, such as two free checked bags, meals on all flights, and service in all cabins. Fly Jamaica, boasting a staff complement of over 80, managed to achieve certification in 12 months. The airline was established by a group of Jamaicans and Guyanese. (Photo: OPM)

PM Portia Simpson-Miller holds the attention of Opposition Leader Andrew Holness during a conversation at the National Leadership Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the Pegasus Hotel on Thursday morning. At the event, held under the theme, “Love That Transforms,” Simpson-Miller and Holness read the first and second lessons respectively.
