NEWS & NOTES: Service for Dr. Heather Little-White this Saturday + Mourning the passing of Teddy McCook

THE DEPARTED: TALLAWAH joins the local track-and-field community and bereaved relatives in mourning the death of Neville ‘Teddy’ McCook O.J. McCook, who had been ailing for some time, passed away Monday afternoon at University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) at age 73. McCook was a Marketing Consultant and Sports Administrator by profession. A former president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA), McCook was at the time of his passing serving as President of the North America, Central America and Caribbean Track & Field Association (NACAC). He was also an IAAF Council member and served on several IAAF committees. 

FINAL SEND-OFF: The thanksgiving service for the life of late food-and-nutrition consultant Dr. Heather Little-White will be held this Saturday, Feb. 16 inside the Jamaica College Auditorium on Hope Road, St. Andrew, commencing at 11 am. The well-known nutritionist, whose remains have been cremated, passed away at hospital on the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 22. She was 60 years old. Dr Little-White was one of Jamaica’s foremost nutritionists and a pioneer of the popular Grace Kitchens Creative Cooking TV programme.
