UPDATE: PM Simpson-Miller, Andrew Holness set to participate at Little-White’s thanksgiving service

Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller and Opposition Leader Andrew Holness will both read lessons at the thanksgiving service for the life of food and nutrition consultant Dr. Heather Little-White, which is scheduled for this Saturday inside the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium at Jamaica College, commencing at 11 a.m.

“The service will be a celebration of the vibrant life that Heather lived and will involve tributes in words and music from some of the island’s leading performers, many of whom admired the tenacity and energy that my sister brought to her profession and daily living,” says her brother, Lennie Little-White. “So please come dressed in bright colours and be prepared to celebrate the life of someone who has been an inspiration to me and many others with whom she came in contact.”

Dr. Little-White passed on Tuesday, January 22 at the Kingston Public Hospital after ailing for several months.
