THE BUZZ REPORT: Mike Henry launches latest book, Many Rivers To Cross

Coinciding with his 78th birthday celebrations, former parliamentarian Mike Henry debuted his new book Many Rivers To Cross, a life-and-work retrospective, on Tuesday at the Red Bones Blues Cafe. "This book assesses how consistent I have been in my pursuits and in my analysis," says Henry. "How much did I seek to change and how much impact I had." The MP says he's also at work on a trilogy, including his memoirs, which he hopes to complete over the course of the next few years.

"I am now in pre-production for the album, which should be ready sometime next year. I am putting together a list of musicians and trying to get Sly & Robbie to lay down tracks for me," Ziggy Marley, who recently picked up his first Daytime Emmy, says of his upcoming 8th studio album. "We always want to expand our reach, get more people listening and in that way help the music progress and keep the spirit of reggae alive."
