ISLAND PRIDE: Under the theme "Celebrating Jamaica," the 51st Anniversary Independence Ball of the Jamaica Independence Celebration Foundation Inc (JICFI) will take over the New York Hilton Hotel on August 17, with such noted guests as our man in Washington, Dr. Stephen Vasciannie; foundation chair Paulette Willoughby; event grand marshall Sam Wright (of Quality Auto Mall and Ford Credit) and patron Herman G.
