These GSAT scholars include four boys and 12 girls. “Sagicor Life is committed to assisting with the development of Jamaica’s youngest and brightest minds,” said R. FRESH START: Except for a few schools in St. Thomas that were affected by Hurricane Sandy last year, says Education minister Ronald Thwaites, it’s all systems go for the 2013/14 academic year. “We have asked schools to tell us if they are having difficulties, and we know of a few with issues that we taking care of,” Thwaites said. “The remainder, we are assuming, are taking care of their needs with the assistance of regional offices.”
