LIFE FORCE: The poster for A Barefoot Dream centred on soccer and ambition.
Foreign art-house cinema never fails to captivate, especially when the pictures in question deliver a blend of potent exotic flavour mixed with captivating storytelling. The approaching Korean Film Festival promises to deliver all that and more.
From September 30 to October 3, the annual film fest will be in residence at St. Andrew's Palace Cineplex (Sovereign Centre) before heading west to Montego Bay's Palace Multiplex for a stint set to run from Oct. 7-8.
While Kingston patrons will get to see a screening of the martial arts flick Woochi: The Demon Slayer, the Montego Bay crowd will view the based-on-a-story tale A Barefoot Dream. To learn more about this year's iteration of the festival, click HERE.
