GIRLS ON THE GO: Sherone Simpson joins Florida-based club + Sara Lawrence tapped as L'oreal Paris Ambassador

SITTING PRETTY: Defining beauty as an "innate characteristic in each an everyone of us," former Miss Jamaica World Dr. Sara Lawrence has been appointed a L'Oreal Paris Ambassador, the first Caribbean woman so honoured, joining the international likes of BeyoncĂ©, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez as reps for the renowned beauty line. "I feel proud to promote L'Oreal's beliefs because we are all worth it," Lawrence says. "It is for each person to tap into [their inner beauty], and let it be the focal point of their lives."

MAKING TRACKS: Has Sherone Simpson parted ways with the MVP Track Club? It would appear so. According to new reports, the embattled Jamaican sprinter (whose credentials include a 2008 Olympic sprint relay gold medal) has joined up with the Florida-based IMG Academy under the watchful eyes of coach Loren Seagrave, considered one of the most renowned speed and conditioning coaches in the world. Next January, Simpson and Asafa Powell will face the Jamaica Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel in relation to their positive drug tests at the Jamaica Senior Trials this past June.
