NOTEWORTHY: Beres Hammond's latest among the reggae album hopefuls.
They're here! Following Friday night's Grammy nominations special on CBS, hosted by LL Cool J, this year's slate of Best Reggae Album contenders were revealed, alongside the scores of other categories on grammy.com. Voters saw fit to give shout-outs to veterans like Beres Hammond while making room for younger candidates like Sizzla and Snoop Lion. Ziggy Marley, as expected, was recognized for his Live In Concert CD, while regular contenders Sly & Robbie made the cut with their entry Reggae Connection.
