NEW MUSIC REVIEW: Reggae's best new tunes speak to matters of the heart

Tarrus Riley "Greatest Creation"
From the man who brought us "She's Royal" comes this spirited ode to the fairer sex that finds Riley re-teaming with ace producer Shane Brown (Jukeboxx Productions) to craft a melodic mid-tempo jam that should find favour with listeners across the board.

Konshens "Music"
A man deeply passionate about his tunes lies at the crux of this hypnotic single from one of the industry's most consistent hitmakers. Off the newly engaged deejay's much-anticipated forthcoming CD, Hotel Room, the track is at once relatable to anyone who can't bear a life free of lyrics and melodies.

Ikaya "Bang Bang "
The fast-rising songstress makes like a damsel in distress eager to find a way out of a bad relationship on this arresting single that echoes the yearning and palpable regret we all have to face at some point in our personal relationships.

NoMaddz "Romance"
The bongo souljahs set the mood with this lighthearted number peppered with delicate keys and strings, proving that in spite of their roots-rockin' disciples status, they're not afraid to play up the softer side of their repertoire. Good for them.

Tessanne Chin "Everything Reminds Me of You"
Capturing that spine-tingling stage of a new relationship, the powerhouse songbird scores a radio-ready gem with this emotional cut that treads the line between contemporary R&B and airy reggae-pop. Off her upcoming release Count on My Love
