THE MUSIC ISSUE: News and notes from the studio to the stage

COVER ME: Ahead of the disc's July 1 arrival, reggae-rock songstress Tessanne Chin has unveiled the cover art for her much-anticipated major-label debut album, Count On My Love. It's a gorgeous, sultry image featuring the chanteuse in an ethereally relaxing pose that's nothing short of inviting. As for the record itself, must-hear tracks include the runaway hits "Tumbling Down" and "Everything Remind Me Of You" and the Diane Warren-penned "I Heart U" with production work from an A-list cast of hitmakers namely Stargate, Claude Kelly and One Republic's Ryan Tedder

FAMILY TREE: September also promises the arrival of the Chino and Stephen McGregor joint studio album Great Minds Think Alike (GMTA). But weeks before the album's scheduled fall release, the boys will join their legendary dad Freddie McGregor onstage at Reggae Sumfest's International Night 2 for a special performance in honour of McGregor receiving the lifetime achievement award from Summerfest Productions. "We'll be performing alongside a live orchestra," Chino tells TALLAWAH
