TOP STORY: And speaking of iconic citizens, the hardest working woman in the media has risen to fill what is perhaps the highest office in Jamaican journalism. On the weekend, the RJR Group's Dionne Jackson-Miller was elected president of the Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ), succeeding Jenni Campbell of The Gleaner Company. Jackson-Miller, the reigning Journalist of the Year, is a woman who was clearly born to lead, and she appears ready to take the organization into the future. "We have a lot of in-house issues that we need to deal with. We need to strengthen the structure of the organization," Jackson-Miller explains. "We need to improve our financials.....and put ourselves in a more viable position." The ace newswoman, who hosts RJR's Beyond the Headlines and TV J's All Angles, heads an executive also comprised of Vice-President Helene Coley-Nicholson; 2nd VP Karen Madden-James; secretary Rohan Powell and treasurer Celia Morgan.
