OUT & ABOUT: Spice + Justin Morin + Popcaan + Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce + Queen Ifrica + Cham + Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange + Agent Sasco

LADY BIRDS: Dec. 18, Kingston. A huge fan of the annual show culture minister Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange (left) joined members of the music fraternity, including headliner Queen Ifrica, at last month’s launch of Rebel Salute 2018. Now in its 25th year, the two-day roots-reggae festival is set for January 12 and 13 at the Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann, with a star-packed lineup that includes Third World, JC Lodge, Romain Virgo, Glacia Robinson and many more. (Photo: Skkan Media)

ONE NIGHT ONLY: Dec. 22, Kingston. Crowd-pleaser Grace ‘Spice’ Hamilton, rocking a figure-flattering red number (and cotton-candy blue hair), brought the heat to her headline performance at Campari Live Fridays at the Puls8 complex in New Kingston recently. This dancehall vixen never fails to make an entrance – or leave a lingering impression. (Photo: Skkan Media)

MY TREAT: Dec. 26, Kingston. Like her compatriot and fellow Digicel brand ambassador Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce continues to host a Christmas treat for the kids to give back to her home community of Waterhouse. For this year’s staging, the sprint phenom invited Digicel CEO, Justin Morin, to share in the fun festivities. (Photo: Digicel)

THE MORE THE MERRIER: Dec. 27, St. Andrew. One of the most buzzed-about ‘uptown’ happenings on the holiday entertainment calendar, 100 Live assembled a star-studded lineup for performances at the hip, Hope Road-based venue, attracting a large turnout. Deejay Assassin (aka Agent Sasco) was in the mix, sharing lens time with a bevy of hot mamas. (Photo: Sleek)

EXTRA TIME: Jan. 1, St. Andrew. By all accounts, the Mountain Lodge Estate was the place to be on New Year’s morning, as the party people ushered in 2018 at Sunnation’s Sunrise Breakfast Party, an annual must-do. Hot-shot recording artistes Popcaan (right) and Cham performed individual sets for the crowd before teaming up to amplify the excitement. (Photo: Sleek)
